eBooks at Miller Library
Miller Library owns or provides access to about 100,000 eBooks, from our Kindle e-readers (available for one-week circulation), to large eBook collections (below). All eBooks can also be searched by individual title or subject from our online catalog: Using the Advanced Keyword Search, simply enter the subject or keywords and then select EBOOKS from the Material Type options.
- ABC-Clio eBook Reference CollectionCollection of reference books encyclopedias, handbooks, biographical collections, guides on many specialized topics, primarily in historical studies and the social sciences.
- ACLS Humanities eBooksHumanities E-Book is a digital collection of full-text titles offered by the ACLS in collaboration with fourteen learned societies, nearly 100 contributing publishers, and librarians at the University of Michigan's Scholarly Publishing Office. The result is an online, fully searchable collection of high-quality books in the Humanities, recommended and reviewed by scholars.
- Cambridge Companions to Philosophy, Religion, and CultureThe Cambridge Companions series offers specially-commissioned collections of essays which are intended to serve as reference works for an inter-disciplinary audience of students and non-specialists. Addressing topics and figures ranging from Plato through Kant to Habermas, and philosophical movements such as the Scottish Enlightenment and German Idealism, this online collection contains over 1100 downloadable essays taken from the Cambridge Companions to Philosophy, Religion and Culture (more than 100 volumes).

- ebrary Academic Complete collectionThe Academic Complete collection includes over 50,000 ebooks from more than 220 of the world's leading academic and professional publishers in all subject areas. A search under the heading of Religion, for example, accesses about 4,000 important works in theology, church history, Bible, Christianity, worldview & culture.
- Encyclopaedia Britannica OnlineA fully searchable and browsable collection of authoritative references, including Britannica's latest article database, hundreds of articles not found in the print Britannica, Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary (Tenth Edition), the Britannica Book of the Year and thousands of links to other World Wide Web sites selected by Britannica editors.

- PsycBooksPsycBOOKS is a full-text database of books and chapters in the American Psychological Association's array of quality electronic databases. Each month books published by APA and classic books from other publishers are added to the database.
- Sage Reference OnlineSage eReference 2008 offers 20 encyclopedias and handbooks online from 17 different subject areas. Some of the subject areas are Communication & Media Studies, Counseling & Psychotherapy, Education, History, Research Methods & Evaluation, and Social Issues.
