Michigan Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages is a state affiliate of the professional association, TESOL International, and provides leadership and support for professionals involved in TESOL across the state.

The Christian English Language Educators Association (CELEA) is an international association for Christians in TESOL. Michael Pasquale is a past president. The CELEA Newsletter also provides TESOL related articles from a Christian worldview perspective.
