From our ILL page:
- The Michigan Electronic Library (MeL) – provides access to print books for Cornerstone students and faculty which can be sourced from participating libraries across the state. Delivery usually takes 1-2 weeks.
- You may also bring your Cornerstone ID and second picture ID to participating MeL Visiting Patron libraries (GRPL/KDL) to pick up items directly, though you should first verify that a library participates in the Visiting Patron program.
- InterLibrary Loan (ILL) – provides access to many kinds of materials from libraries across the country, as well allowing distance learners to have items shipped directly to their homes. Items are scanned and emailed when possible or shipped through the mail (note that physical ILL requests should be reserved for situations in which an item is not available any other way).
- First time distance users should select 'Distance' under the 'Status' dropdown menu of the ILL request page
Use your 'My Library Account' (available from the library homepage) to keep track of and renew books you have requested or checked out.
